Saints have handed United States Under-20 goalkeeper Cody Cropper a two-year professional contract following a successful trial.
The 19-year-old has spent much of the past two months with Martin Hunter's Under 21 squad, playing in a number of their pre-season friendlies.

Sam Hoskins struck late on to earn Saints a point in an entertaining six goal game at Staplewood on Monday afternoon.

The second match of the Barclays Professional Development U21 League was played out on a swelteringly warm day at the club’s training ground, where Saints came from 3-1 down to secure their unbeaten start to the campaign.
