The Football Club Austria (Latin: Österreich) Vienna is an Austrian football club from Vienna. The club plays in the Bundesliga. The second team of the club plays in the 3rd league under the name "Young Violets." So far, Austria has been the Austrian champion 24 times and has won the ÖFB Cup 27 times, making it the most successful Austrian club in post-war history. The greatest international successes were the victories in the Mitropa Cup in 1933 and 1936, reaching the final in the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1978, as well as participating in the semi-finals of the European Cup of Champions in 1979 and the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1983. In the 2013/2014 season, the club reached the group stage of the Champions League for the first time in its history.
